Out of the Frying Pan, Into The Fire

Just a reminder for those who are infuriated with the Arroyo Administration. Aren't you guys the one who put her to power in the first place?


Maybe many of you have forgotten, or perhaps have been denying it. But really, staging another EDSA Revolt? Aren't you tired yet of being used?

Maybe this will refresh your minds...



Now. Today is the president's (supposedly last) State of the Nation Address. The streets are swept clean, no people loitering, the fresh scent of boot polish and gun grease in the air. Ah, yes. Expecting some chaos, I presume.

No matter. They might not be disappointed.

Okay, so for the young, just a reminder. Because your big brothers and sisters believed that by disavowing the law and taking to the streets will topple ERAP from power (and it did), they also blindly believed that they are bringing up another political figure who they thought is a... LESSER EVIL... (which is exactly what my ex-girlfriend once said many years ago).

And... just an aside... when I was asked by some of my co-teachers in another school years ago after EDSA 2 who I would choose, I told them this...

"Since I am to choose, I'd rather choose a gambling lord than a horder. At least gambling lords get their money from gamblers and not from tax payers."

Get the drift?

And So here it is... your "Lesser Evil."

And PLEASE.. those who helped Arroyo to be in power should have NO RIGHT to complain. They were given a chance for ERAP's trial. They befouled it, it's their cake. Eat it.

So, for the kids... If I were you, I'd rather stay home and watch the fun with some popcorn and drink.
